The AORN Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational foundation created in 1991 by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN). Its mission is to "secure resources and administer assets that provide support for meeting AORN's strategic goals in education and research. "The Foundation's programs are supported by contributions from members, chapters, state councils, industry, and individual donors. Contributions are tax deductible as charitable expenses within the limits of the law.
