AORN Foundation Giving Opportunities

Gifts to the AORN Foundation can make a difference in the lives of perioperative nurses today and in generations to come. Every donation helps the Foundation fulfill its mission by funding continuing education, scholarships, leadership development training, research.

• Annual giving is a valuable source of unrestricted support that impacts every aspect of the Foundation’s mission. 
• Planned gifts offer a wide variety of options available to individuals who wish to include AORN in their financial and estate planning.
• Matching gifts are a way to have your gift matched or even doubled by your employer’s matching gifts program. 
• Tribute gifts can be made to the Foundation by honoring or recognizing someone or remembering a loved one.
• Endowed gifts are designed to provide a perpetual income stream that will enable the Foundation to support certain programs each year. 
• Join OuR Heroes gifts will support all areas of the Foundation by investing in education and research to improve surgical patient safety and by funding scholarships and programs to prepare a new generation of nurses.

The AORN Foundation values individuals, organizations, corporations and anyone who invests in the Foundation through their gifts. Every gift is important. The Foundation has established recognition clubs as a special way of saying "thank you" to donors who contribute at specific levels:
