Join OuR Heroes Campaign
The AORN Foundation established the Join OuR Heroes Campaign in 2008 to fund an endowment for the AORN Foundation. This five-year, $10 million dollar endowment will be held in perpetuity and invested and managed conservatively and will increase the Foundation's annual revenue. Gifts to the campaign may be made as a one-time gift or pledged over a five-year period of time. Funds generated from this endowment will allow the Foundation to fund ongoing expenses or special projects. We invite you to "support nurses who make surgery safe," by giving to the Join OuR Heroes Campaign.
Endowed Scholarship
Endowed scholarships differ from others in that instead of the entire amount of the gift being spent outright, the total amount of the gift is invested. A portion of the invested incomed earned is given to a scholarship recipient and the remainder is added to the original principal. An endowed scholarship can be established with a minimum gift of $25,000. The AORN Foundation gratefully acknowledges the following endowed scholarship donors:
