Specialty Assemblies Support AORN Foundation as One of Their Initiatives

This year at the 2009 Congress in Chicago, the Specialty Assemblies were presented with a list of ten initiatives. Each group was asked to select three initiatives to focus on for this year. Many of the Specialty Assemblies chose to conduct a fundraising activity for the AORN Foundation.

In order to accommodate this initiative, the AORN Foundation is hosting the first Annual Specialty Assembly Fundraising Challenge. The challenge will run from July 1, 2009 thru December 31, 2009. The Specialty Assembly with the largest percentage of their membership participating in this challenge through making a donation to the Foundation will be eligible for a drawing for one waived individual registration to the 2010 AORN Congress in Denver.

To participate in this challenge, simply make a donation to the Foundation and notate the Specialty Assembly you belong to in the memo line of your check. If you make your donation online, please notate your Specialty Assembly in Line 2 of the address form.
