Safe Patient Handling Tool Kit
Based on the AORN guidance statement and algorithms to prevent musculoskeletal injuries associated with improper moving and lifting techniques, the Safe Patient Handling Tool Kit provides essential resources to educate perioperative personnel about the correct and safe way to move patients and equipment in the perioperative environment.
AORN Members may download the tool kit and awareness posters for free and earn 1.8 contact hours (through December 31, 2015) for successfully completing the learner evaluation and answer sheet included with the Tool Kit.
