Delegate Limits

• The number of Delegates (or Delegate Limit) for each Chapter is determined by a formula, which calculates Chapter size to overall AORN voting members as of June 30 each year.
• Each Chapter receives one guaranteed Delegate regardless of chapter size.
• Each Chapter receives the same number of Alternates as they do Delegates. For example, if a Chapter is allowed three (3) Delegates, they may also send three (3) Alternates.
• Chapters may choose Delegates from another Chapter to fill spots as long as their bylaws allow this process.

Tally Sheet
The tally sheet is used by the State Reporter to count the number of Delegates per state, so that an accurate count can be presented to the AORN President at Roll Call during Congress.
