Overview
Based on “Holism of Care” for nursing practice, the IHPSA invites all PeriOperative nurses to join us in learning about and applying Integrated Health Practices to their daily living and to their practice settings. This is an opportunity to explore the many modalities used worldwide and change your personal life. (Modality examples: Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Affirmation/Positive Statements, Colour Therapy, Guided Imagery/visualization, Healing Touch, Herbal Medicines, Meditation, Music, Nutrition, Tai Chi, Reflexology, Yoga)
We provide the Serenity Room for anyone attending Congress to come relax, explore variety of modalities, and talk with us.
Symbolism behind the IHP Logo

- Outer circle represents life continuity.
- Inner circle represents the binding of the healthcare continuum.
- The triangle represents the individual’s mind, body, spirit. (Touches both circles because of direct interaction.)

- The gold star represents all the integrated practice applications.
- Both stars are superimposed upon one another to indicate the meshing of philosophies.
