Building Financial Skills for ASC Managers

A one-day seminar focusing on the financial skills you need to manage your ASC effectively, efficiently, and economically. You will learn:

  • Basic cost accounting and financial terminology
  • Components of capital and operating budgets
  • Process for FTE calculation

This two-day certificate course is designed to give operating room personnel a basic foundation in laser biophysics and tissue interaction. You will learn laser safety protocols according to the ANSI Z136.3 Safe Use of Lasers in Health Care Facilities standard, as well as indications for specific patient selection when utilizing different laser wavelengths. Instruction is accomplished through didactics, lecture, and discussion. This course is provided by The Laser Institute of America.
