AORN makes a variety of education resources available to support members, member groups, and facility staff in their journey towards perioperative excellence through education and the development and implementation of best practices.

- The Perioperative Nursing Course Directory is an online database of perioperative programs available throughout the USA for nurses and student nurses who are interested in a career in perioperative nursing.
- The Speaker's Bureau directory assists chapters and AORN members in finding speakers for their chapter programs or other events.
- AORN's Primer for Perioperative Education provides resources AORN members can use to encourage local schools of nursing to include perioperative nursing in nursing school curricula.
- The Perioperative Orientation Resources includes a calculator tool, which enables facility staff to calculate the costs related to orienting a novice or experienced perioperative nurse, along with other useful documents.
- The Perioperative Excellence Criteria provides perioperative measurement criteria for AORN members' journey towards Magnet Status and perioperative excellence.
