We Set the Standard So You Can Raise the Bar
As health care educators look for programs to train not only perioperative nurses, but others in the surgical team, many recognize that the education included in Periop 101: A Core Curriculum™ is useful for other health care professionals working in the surgical environment. Many of the 25 learning modules have applications for others in the surgical team such as OB RN circulators, PAs, Residents, and Medical Students. To meet this demand, AORN is creating modified Periop 101 courses that are specific to other members of the surgical team.
The first modified course available is for OB RN Circulators. Learn more about this new course.
Another new course for PAs, Residents, and Medical Students will be available in late 2009.
