Principles of Radiation Safety found in the AORN Guidelines

Overview: This webinar will cover the principles of radiation safety which are described in the AORN Guideline for Radiation Safety.  The principles of radiation safety apply to the patient and to the health care workers including those who are pregnant.  The principles which will be detailed include time, distance, and shielding.  Care of radiation personnel shielding devices will be discussed.  The supporting evidence for the principles will also be presented.
