To better reflect the different services it provides, AORN Management Solutions has changed its name to AORN Works and is developing a new Web site to provide greater information about its range of services for perioperative consultation and interim management and full-time placement needs.

Following a year of analysis and development, AORN Works launched its new name and brand in July and will launch its completed new Web site (www.aornworks.org) in October.

"This name change and branding-refocus reflect our capability to address the different needs in the OR, whether it's consulting, interim services or full time placement," said Vicki Faas, RN, AORN Works general manager. "We are always refining and expanding our services to stay on top of current demands and changing needs in the perioperative environment."

Beyond responding to staffing needs, Faas says AORN Works provides consultation for issues that perioperative professionals across the country are currently dealing with, including improved infection control and prevention, process improvement and accreditation preparation. AORN Works employs senior perioperative nurse leaders and physicians as consultants to provide a broad perspective in its consulting practice.
