Individual Achievement Awards

AORN recognizes outstanding individual members in various areas of perioperative nursing. Information for the 2013 award categories and applications will be available in June 2012. At that time, each category page will provide further information including history of the award, criteria, recipient recognition, and required elements for completing the online application. Award recipients are recognized annually at Congress. 

AORN Board of Directors, Awards Committee members, judging panel members, and Headquarters staff are ineligible for awards while holding any of these positions. Awards Committee members and judging panel members may not nominate and/or sponsor any individual award applicants during their term due to conflict of interest involving the judging process.
