AORN offers four membership categories including standard (RN), associate (non-RN), student, and retired. Each category has specific criteria that must be met in order to obtain membership status. 

Membership dues include national, local chapter or e-Chapter dues, and unlimited Specialty Assemblies. Members may belong to an additional chapter for $20. 

Membership Categories Include:

Standard Membership (RN) - $125
Standard members are registered professional nurses (RNs) who support the mission of AORN. Standard members may hold an elective office, and serve as a delegate to the AORN House of Delegates.

Associate Membership (Non-RN) - $125
Associate members are individuals who are not registered nurses, who provide or provided direct or indirect perioperative services, and who support the mission of AORN. Associate members may participate in their local chapter. These members may not hold office or vote in the House of Delegates. 

Student Membership - $20
Student members are individuals pursuing education leading to eligibility to sit for the registered nurse licensing exam. Student members may not hold office or vote in the House of Delegates. RNs seeking advanced degrees or certification fall into the standard membership category.

Retired Membership - $40
Retired members are registered professional nurses who are retired from the health care industry and who support the mission of AORN.

2-Year Membership - $237 - 5% Discount NEW!
Standard members can purchase a 2-year membership at the discounted rate of $237 (5% savings).  Select the 2-year membership option online, mail or fax, or by calling AORN Customer Service at 800-755-2676, Ext. 1.

3-Year Membership - $337 - 10% Discount
Purchase a 3-year standard membership at the discounted rate of $337 (10% savings).  Select the 3-year membership option online, mail or fax, or by calling AORN Customer Service at 800-755-2676, Ext. 1.

Lifetime Member - $1,000
