National Legislative Committee

AORN's Government Affairs Department in conjunction with the AORN National Legislative Committee (NLC) established five legislative regions with five Regional Coordinators. The Regional Coordinators, Board-appointed liaison(s), and 1 member at large make up the NLC. The NLC serves as the grassroots resource group to support the AORN legislative agenda.

The NLC members work directly with each State Legislative Coordinator in their region to collect and disseminate information about public policy issues and initiatives in the individual states and act as a "clearinghouse" on advocacy information with state chapters and councils in the states.
