The Guideline Implementation Workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn how to properly implement AORN’s Guidelines for Perioperative Practice in a safe and supportive environment. AORN's Guidelines are the official evidence-based position on questions regarding perioperative practice.
You’ll begin your day listening to the AORN's Guidelines for Perioperative Practice authors present on the specific guidelines, and then you’ll experience hands-on demonstrations and simulation exercises unique to that guideline.
You will be awarded 4.0 CH.
This program is approved for 4.0 hours of AEU credits by BASC Provider #0102.
All events start at 7am and end at 4pm.

- Skin Antisepsis. Work with other perioperative RNs to determine how to handle the top 5 challenges for skin preps, including alternative antiseptic selection for patients with iodine allergies!
