In addition to marking the correct surgery site, we always place patients' ID and allergy wristbands on the side thier surgeries will be performed. It's a simple safety check that helps us confirm the proper site is marked. When patients ask about the practice, our answer puts them at ease. They like to know that we have a multilayered plan in place to prevent wrong-site surgery.
