ADVANCE NOTICE
Stay on Schedule With Group Pages

Our OR nurses send group pages out to key perioperative areas about 10 minutes before each case ends, noting whether the patient is going to PACU and whose surgery is next on the schedule. This announcement keeps patient throughput smooth by alerting PACU nurses to be ready, and alerting our short procedure unit to get the patient to the bathroom, if they need to go, and complete any final pre-op tasks.
