Sandra Conaway, MSN, CNOR

Sandra Conaway – who started out working on the perinatal units – is a nurse educator with 40 years of nursing experience. After she started out, she moved to the OB/GYN operating room where she has held positions as a staff nurse, clinical coordinator, and assistant nurse manager. Conaway is enthusiastic about promoting best practices for all surgical patients, and she has enjoyed precepting and training inexperienced staff. In her career, she has also helped create an education plan to provide evidence-based practices for the labor and delivery nurses who circulate.
