This means a commitment to lifelong learning by advancing our education whether it’s degree oriented, certification, or attending the many workshops AORN presents throughout the year.“

Closing Ceremony Wraps Up AORN Expo

“This week has been such an inspiration and I hope each of you have had the same shared experience I encountered. It certainly was a chance for all of us to reconnect, recharge, and revitalize our commitment to this amazing culture and association,” shared 2018/2019 AORN President Stephanie Davis, MSHA, RN, CNOR, CSSM.

Then, incoming President Missi Merlino, MHA, RNBC, CNOR, CSSM unveiled this year’s theme: 20/20 Vision: Creating Our Future. “This represents setting the course for our future by looking back at our successful past and looking forward to find the balance in our practice and our Association.”

FOUNDATION GRANT RECIPIENTS MEET THEIR SPONSORS

AORN Global Surgical Conference & Expo 2019 Grant recipients met their sponsors and thanked them in person yesterday. Stryker generously supported the attendance of nearly 100 nurses to this week’s conference. Thanks to Stryker for Supporting the Nurses who Make Surgery Safe.
