ANTI-EMBOLISM STOCKINGS
TED Hose Will Slide Right On
Here's a simple solution to getting TED hose to slide right on. Place the slippery plastic packaging on the patient's foot, and then place the TED hose on and pull up the stocking. No more struggling: The hose slides right over the arch and heel. Remove the plastic packaging from the toe opening and repeat on the other foot. Instruct patients who have to wear anti-embolism stockings at home to use a sandwich baggy.
