Meds To Beds
Fill Scripts While Patients Are in PACU

Our "Meds-to-Beds" program provides an additional measure of convenience and customer service to our same-day surgery patients. Here's how it works. When a surgeon writes his post-op orders, our nurses send the prescription information to our in-house pharmacy, which fills it while the patient is in recovery. A pharmacy tech then delivers the meds to the patient's bedside before she's discharged.

This service eliminates the need for patients to stop at the pharmacy on the way home — after all, the rest of their day should be dedicated to relaxation and recovery — and ensures that their post-op meds won't lapse before they get their prescriptions filled. If patients choose to participate in our optional program, all they have to do is bring their prescription insurance information and co-pay on the day of surgery.
