Protection from head to toe

Protection from head to toe

Stryker's T7 helmet can be tailored to each user, keeping them cool and comfortable without sacrificing barrier protection. It's billed as the vendor's lightest and quietest helmet to date, with a noise reduction of 40% compared to its previous model. With EVA foam that conforms to the wearer's head, a lighter frame and a cooler fit, the company says T7 addresses both balance and ergonomics. Through its dual adjustment knob, users can precisely control the helmet's height and width, while an improved center of gravity is said to relieve neck strain. Stryker also introduced T7plus, a line of surgical hoods and togas, which boasts breathable material that allows users to remain cool while providing AAMI level 4 protection.

Trap Polyps With Ease

The ProTrap Luma polyp specimen collection device from Micro Tech Endoscopy is designed for safety, efficiency and value. The system, which allows for the quick removal of polyps through an endoscope's channel, includes a collection hose, trap body and tray. A one-inch glowstick and built-in magnifying window provides easy visualization of the specimen. Once polyps are entrapped in the tray, providers can remove and place it directly in a collection jar, eliminating dropping, loss or damage risks associated with handling. Additional trays can be used to retrieve multiple polyps without loss of suction.
