Welcome to the Community section of the AORN website.
The Community section offers online resources to assist nurse professionals and associate members in networking and information-sharing. Whether you're a student looking for a perioperative experience, or an experienced nurse looking for networking opportunities, AORN Communities provide a valuable connection to your profession and your peers.
In the Community section you will find detailed information about local networking opportunities through AORN chapters and state councils, along with information of interest to you in your perioperative specialty, such as pediatrics or cardiothoracic through AORN's 23 Specialty Assemblies.
If you're interested in participating on the national level, you will find descriptions of all AORN National Committees. AORN also honors perioperative nurses through its well-recognized awards program, both for individuals and chapters.
