Purpose Statements 

  • Provide and promote a dynamic network for AORN members to address current trends and issues related to sterile processing and materials management.
  • Assess, promote, and provide focused education programs.
  • Develop a greater understanding between perioperative nursing, sterile processing, and materials management.
  • Serve as a resource to AORN to help promote safe patient care on issues related to sterile processing and materials management.  

Consider a donation to the 2014 AORN Foundation Silent Auction

The AORN Foundation will be holding a silent auction to “Support the Nurses Who Make Surgery Safe” at the 61st annual Surgical Conference and Expo in Chicago, March 29-April 2, 2014.  Proceeds from this event will support programs of the AORN Foundation, the philanthropic arm of AORN.  Please join us in donating to an auction item by completing the AORN Foundation online donation form. Add “SPMM Silent Auction” in the In Honor Of box.  Please make your donation by Friday, February 28, 2014.
