"AMBULATORY" SURGERY
Some Patients Walk to the ORIs there any reason why able-bodied patients who don't receive sedation before surgery can't walk to the OR themselves? Probably not. It saves a lot of time, as well as the risk of employee injury from navigating a stretcher. It might seem odd at first, but our patients don't complain about it, and the time savings are well worth it.
