ID Vendors By Scrub Color
To make it easy for staff to quickly identify and locate vendors, Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, changed the color of the sales vendor scrubs from the standard issue green to a bright blue. "The color change not only ensures that vendors are guided to the correct areas, but also assists in preventing the occasional room hopping and hallway sales presentations," says Col. Joe Paulino, chief of perioperative nursing services.
