AT-A-GLANCE
Exam Room Flags

Hang exam room flags outside each pre-operative bay. It's an easy way for all to see where the patient is in the process. Each of the 6 flag colors can indicate whatever you'd like. Here's what we chose:

Red

Contact precautions

Green

Go (or ready for surgery)

Yellow

Waiting (to go to surgery)

Blue

Anesthesia (there is an anesthesia need)

White

Privacy (the patient doesn't want to be disturbed)

Black

Housekeeping (the bay is ready to be cleaned)
