Send Vendors an Invite to Surgery

Do vendors sometimes complain after the fact that they didn't know about cases they needed to observe? We started using Outlook's Meeting Invite to schedule surgeries with vendors. Now, when we know a vendor needs to be present for a case, we send him an invite with the date, time, surgeon's name and any products he needs to bring with him. The vendor's acceptance verifies that he received the information. If he doesn't accept, our staff follows up with him.
