Donate Used Slipper Socks

When admitting patients, we ask them to kindly consider leaving the grip socks we give them on their pillow at discharge. We then donate the socks to a local nursing home, which launders them and passes them out to residents. This eliminates landfill waste and potentially saves an elderly nursing home patient from slipping and falling.
