The plastic basins that come in our ACL reconstruction packs and epidural trays, which often go unused, are a great alternative for mixing plaster for casts. Instead of using trays that have to be cleaned, which takes time and can cause clogs when the plaster goes down the drain, we do the mixing in the basins and then just throw them away.
