READY TO ROLL? Colored cones let case pickers know whether a case cart is ready to go to the OR.Is That Case Cart Complete?
Our case pickers use these colored cones to indicate when a case cart is complete and ready to go to the OR (green means go) and when it's missing an instrument or supply (yellow means wait). We also place a plain white cone in decontamination to signal to staff that an instrument or set is needed for a case later in the day.
