'ERRATIC AND DELUSIONAL' Authorities have suspended the license of anesthesiologist Sharon Worosilo, MD, after investigating allegations of her bizarre behavior.

New Jersey state authorities have suspended the medical license of an anesthesiologist whom they say displayed erratic and delusional behavior and smelled of alcohol while practicing.

Sharon Worosilo, MD, owner of the New Jersey Pain Management Institute in Franklin, N.J., and the medical director of the Precision Surgical Center in East Brunswick, N.J., began drawing the concern of her peers in October, according to a complaint from the Office of the New Jersey State Attorney General. Here's some of what the Yale University-trained anesthesiologist allegedly did:

• She approached a patient with a Duracell battery and told the patient that the surgeon could just put the battery in him and "stick it where the sun don't shine."
• She advised staff that she was waiting for calls from President Obama and Hillary Clinton so they could "take down Trump."
• She entered the OR dancing and blasting loud, vulgar music.
• She reached out to patients whom she had no care relationship with for suture removal and follow-up.
• She tried to perform an unauthorized epidural injection on a patient while asking the X-ray technician how the perform the procedure.
• She ordered a patient seeking a prescription for painkillers to leave the facility, yelling at him to "get the f*** out of [her] office," after which she demanded staff call 911, took a knife in hand and stormed into the waiting area where other patients sat.
• She had the odor of alcohol on her breath daily.

Dr. Worosilo did not respond to requests for comment. It is unclear whether she has retained an attorney.
