In a wide-ranging and engaging conversation, Ms. Scotti discusses everything from her personal experiences undergoing a gender-affirming surgery more than 20 years ago to how she managed to get through a pandemic that essentially shut down her livelihood. Ms. Scotti also reveals some of the best practices on resilience that have gotten her through the toughest of times that may help people in their own lives. She also shares a heartwarming story about opening for a superstar that left her starstruck and nearly too nervous to perform (you’ll have to listen to hear how it ends).
