The Simple Cure for Dull OR Lights

Some OR lights have a protective plastic lens over the actual glass or light. Our plastic was looking foggy and the lights didn't produce the brightness we once saw. Yet the more we tried to clean the plastic, the worse it became. This is because the heat of the bulbs caused chemical cleaners to fog or cloud the porous plastic. Our simple solution was to use an auto headlight restorer to clean our OR lights. We got amazing results with a rubbing-type compound that you apply, rub off and repeat until you achieve the desired effect.
