Practical pearls from your colleagues

Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City has contributed $20,000 to Valley Regional Transit to expand its Rides2Wellness Program, which helps people get to their medical appointments by providing free transportation. Rides2Wellness is a shared-ride system that is coordinated with various transportation providers in the community. This on-demand program picks individuals up from their homes and drops them at their appointments. The system also takes people to pre-op appointments and provides transportation to facilities on the day of surgery as long as patients request it in advance. OSM
