About this Course
This education activity utilizes learning interactivity designed to reinforce knowledge of key concepts and apply necessary skills to real-world situations confronting the PD nurse. Non-infectious complications of PD will be explored through game-based learning. Prevention of PD infection focuses on the role the PD nurse plays in preventing peritonitis, exit-site and tunnel infections as well as how to manage these complications. Lastly, the PD Retention Roadmap concludes with a summary compilation of the principles and strategies needed to develop a successful plan for supporting patients in their PD journey.
