The ICU patient population is at increased risk for pulmonary complications that can be mitigated with proper risk awareness, early intervention, and use of adjunct technology. This continuing education live webinar will provide key learnings needed to support the ICU pulmonary patient from multiple angles.

Meet the Speaker

 

Heather Kooiker

MSN, RN, CNL, CNOR, CRNFA

Heather is a Mastered prepared, Certified Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) who also holds Certifications in Perioperative Registered Nursing (CNOR), along with a Registered Nurse First Assistant Certification (CRNFA). Heather is faculty for Davenport University BSN program, located in Grand Rapids Michigan, where she instructs evidence-based practice, senior capstone and coordinates the perioperative immersion program to the future generation of nurses. She is also the Senior Medical Affairs Manager for Patient Care Solutions and Global Surgical Solutions at Baxter International. The foundation of Heathers clinical knowledge has been built through her 28 years of nursing experience Heather is the president of her local Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) chapter, active with the ANA mentoring program. Heather also sits on the Executive Board for the National Assistant at Surgery Certification (NASC).
