Surveillance video purportedly shows a surgeon repeatedly punching his nurse-girlfriend in a Chinese hospital operating room.

The stunning video, which has been viewed more than 4 million times, was shot last Friday at the Lankao County Hospital in Central China's Henan Province.

Witnesses claim the surgeon accused his girlfriend of violating protocol, according to published reports.

The pair began arguing soon after the patient left the OR. Things turned physical when the surgeon flung a glove at the nurse's face. She then lunges at the doctor with a roundhouse right that appears to miss. The doctor then landed as many as 8 right-handed punches to the nurse's head until she falls to the OR floor.
