Adjusting Your Leadership Style

Share:

A generational gap has formed in the workplace and beyond between the twentysomethings of Gen Z and seemingly everyone else. With that gap has come dismissive stereotyping and frustrations about the methods and motivations of your younger colleagues, who are here to stay in the workforce. Educate yourself on how best to engage your youngest staff and remember that the key to their performance is not to try to turn them into someone just like you. It’s better to meet them where they are, appreciate and understand their goals and preferences, and engage them productively and authentically.

A great leader understands that Gen Z workers are different and adjusts their leadership style.
