Set an Example by Using Your Own PTO

It’s Saturday, December 28. Have you taken much (or any) time off this year? Make sure you do — not just for your own benefit, but also to set an example for your employees. After all, paid time off should not just be a benefit you bank. It’s vitally important to use that benefit, especially in high-intensity environments where the ability to focus and pay close attention to detail is mission critical. Taking the time to rest and recharge is not just a luxury, it’s a necessity for you and your employees to operate at peak performance at all times.

A great leader not only takes time for themselves but encourages their team members to do the same.
