Leaders can sometimes fall into the trap of acting like they have all the answers, and even perhaps see themselves as the hardest-working person in the room. Not only does that make their team feel “less than,” but it can also cause people to question the supposedly all-knowing leader when they don’t provide immediate, appropriate solutions to problems in the workplace. Great leaders understand that leadership is an inclusive journey with their team. Their mission is to remove obstacles and offer guidance to ensure everyone’s success — while at the same time offering unwavering support for staff to be their best selves.
A great leader doesn’t have all the answers but is always there for guidance.
