Preparing for Congress 2027
When AORN changed the name of its annual conference from Congress to Expo, it retained the name Congress for the business of the association, consistent with the references to Congress in the bylaws.
The members who attend Congress in Philadelphia will be busy with both position statements and bylaws changes on the agenda for 2027. Stay tuned for position statement updates and communications from the bylaws committee on proposed changes. AORN will host Town Halls on each topic leading into Expo to help prepare members for these important discussions.
Schedules and agendas for the Philadelphia Forums and Houses of Delegates will be posted later in 2026.
All members, whether a chapter delegate or delegate, may vote in the House of Delegates. Virtual participation will not be available in 2027.
