Emily McKisson, MS, BSN, RN, CNOR

Emily McKisson works as an Epic OpTime trainer Ohio State Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC). She previously served as a perioperative nurse educator for University Hospital, Same Day Surgery Center, and the Ross Heart Hospital operating rooms at OSUWMC. As a perioperative nurse educator, McKisson helped create a standardized onboarding and case tracking system for perioperative nurses, as well as a health system perioperative nurse residency program for new graduate nurses. McKisson has also been involved in training programs for surgical residents, medical students, nursing students, and surgical technologist students. She is also a guest lecturer at The Ohio State University College of Nursing.
