OR services leader
Laila S. Bailey has been a perioperative nurse for more 36 years and has spent most of her career as a staff RN at a level 1 trauma center. Laila currently serves as OR services leader for the pediatric and urology service lines. During her career, she’s been published in the AORN Journal (discussing strategies for decreasing perioperative anxiety) presented at AORN Expo in 2019 regarding hand hygiene in the perioperative setting and has held numerous offices in her local AORN chapter.
