Melissa Hermanson, MSN, MBA, RN, NEA-BC is an innovative nurse leader, focusing on patient safety and quality of care delivery. She has been a nurse for more than 20 years, working in critical care, perioperative and administrative roles. She is currently a DNP candidate at Drexel University, where she earned an MSN in nursing leadership and health systems management and an MBA with a focus on healthcare marketing. She enjoys participating in the ANA Innovation Accelerator Workgroup and is a member of the Nursing Educator Residency program at Rutgers University.
