Sandra L. Ayala, Doctoral Nursing Practice

Sandra Ayala is a nursing clinical educator for surgical services at two Dignity Health hospitals. St John’s Regional Medical Center and St John’s Camarillo Hospital. She has worked as a telemetry and registered critical care nurse for 10 years, before eventually moving to an open-heart circulator position. After earning a master’s in education, she became a surgical service educator.
