Tirso J. Ballesteros, RN, MSN, CNOR

Tirso J. Ballesteros fulfilled a life-long dream of working in the OR and accepted a spot in the Perioperative 101 residency program in 2001. Since then, he has become an OR director, who is responsible for overseeing the daily logistics of all procedures performed at the main campus of his hospital. He has been a key player in standardizing processes, improving efficiency, workplace satisfaction, and implementing the HRO and TEAMSTEPP principles.
