About the Event

Through interactive activities, expert guidance, and hands-on learning, this full day immersive workshop guides clinicians step by step through the complete Evidence Based Practice (EBP) process: from identifying a clinical problem to determining the best practice change for real world patient care.

Participants will gain the skills and confidence to:

  • Transform clinical problems into clear, answerable questions
  • Develop robust, reproducible literature search strategies in partnership with medical librarians 
  • Rapidly screen, evaluate, and critically appraise research
  • Synthesize findings to support meaningful clinical decision making
  • Plan for implementation, sustainability, and dissemination of practice change
  • Apply practical tools within your own clinical setting to support evidence-informed decision-making
  • Strengthen team collaboration and ongoing practice improvement 

Learning Objectives

Participants will build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to progress from a clinical question to an evidence-informed practice decision by engaging in a structured, skill‑based Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) process.
