La colecistectomía laparoscópica (CL) es el tratamiento de referencia para los cálculos biliares y otras enfermedades de la vesícula biliar. Si bien la CL se ha convertido en un procedimiento muy común, a menudo realizado en entornos ambulatorios, todavía presenta riesgos para el paciente. Cada miembro del equipo perioperatorio, incluidos enfermeras tituladas, técnicos de quirófano y técnicos en esterilización, desempeña un papel fundamental en la optimización de la seguridad y eficacia de la CL. Laparoskopická cholecystektómia (LC) je liečba žlčových kameňova iných ochorení žlčníka. Hoci sa LC stala veľmi rozšíreným zákrokom, ktorý sa často vykonáva ambulantne, stále predstavuje pre pacienta riziká. Každý člen perioperačného tímu vrátane zdravotných sestier, chirurgických technikov a odborníkov na sterilné spracovanie zohráva kľúčovú úlohu pri optimalizácii bezpečnosti a účinnosti LC. V rámci tejto vzdelávacej aktivity sa bude diskutovať o výskyte a prevalencii symptomatických žlčových kameňov, o kľúčových chirurgických technikách zavedených na zaistenie bezpečného odstránenia žlčníka a o kritických bezpečnostných aspektoch a činnostiach týkajúcich sa renovovania laparoskopických nástrojov a chirurgických pomôcok, ako sú klipy na cystické kanály, ktoré pomáhajú každému pacientovi podstupujúcemu LC vyhnúť sa komplikáciám a dosiahnuť optimálny pooperačný výsledok.
